On 22 May 2003 it was announced that The Roxboro Group and Esterline Technologies had signed an agreement to transfer the ownership of Weston Group to Esterline, subject to the approval of Roxboro’s shareholders. Ratification of this agreement by Roxboro’s shareholders followed on 9 June and on 12 June the Weston Group (Weston Aerospace, Norwich Aero Products, and Pressure Systems Inc.) became part of the Esterline group of companies.

Esterline Technologies is an aerospace and defence company headquartered in the US near Seattle, Washington. Aircraft sensors are an important part of Esterline’s business. It owns Auxitrol S.A. in France, another leading sensor company, in addition to the Weston Group companies.
