PSI
2000
Roxboro strategy was to develop a balanced group of control technology companies, with each business focusing on achieving market leadership in clearly defined global niches. As part of this the Group re-organised itself in March 2000 into three branded business entities, each with its own management structure:
| |
The Weston Group, to address the aerospace industry |
The Solartron Group, to focus on the energy and process industries |
The Dialight Group, to target communications, traffic signals, and transportation. |
As a result of this, Pressure Systems Inc, which had been acquired by Roxboro in 1994, was brought together with Weston Aerospace & Norwich Aero Products, to create the Weston Group.
Pressure Systems Inc., or “PSI” as it is often called, designs and manufactures pressure sensors, scanners and systems. Its products have both aerospace and industrial applications; these include wind tunnel test systems, industrial and environmental condition monitoring and precision or lab instrumentation. Aerospace customers include Rolls-Royce and NASA and its subcontractors. The Weston Group of companies look to grow by building on their own existing businesses and by working together to develop new business. |
