Weston Aerospace is a GE Aircraft Engines approved manufacturer of the new Power Turbine speed probe for the LM2500 engine.

Weston designed and certified this transducer in collaboration with GEAE and in doing so have incorporated a number of significant design features which offer simplified installation, improved on-engine electrical performance and enhanced reliability.

By designing this speed probe using our patented transformer technology, a strong output signal is generated even at low engine operating speeds and large air gap settings. Unlike earlier speed transducer standards, the air gap is no longer set using shims and tooling, greatly simplifying installation.
