Weston Aerospace has been the main supplier of the RB211 T6 thermocouples, associated junction boxes and LVDT’s for the last 20 years. During this time, Weston has made changes to the thermocouple as a result of advances in design and material technology.

The latest standard incorporates proven technology developed for new variants of the RB211, DLE and 24G engines, to which Weston supplies an extensive range of thermocouples, junction boxes and harnesses.

The thermocouple element is to Class 1 limits of accuracy and is housed in a fully welded and brazed construction, which improves reliability, accuracy and life over earlier standards.

We now manufacture the HP/IP and Starter speed probes. These units have been developed by Weston to overcome reliability problems associated with earlier standards, and use our patented transformer technology. This technology provides the benefit of high reliability, a strong signal output and simplified installation.

All of these products have the approval of Rolls-Royce Industrial & Marine Gas Turbines, have equivalent RR parts numbers and are available directly from Weston.
