Weston Aerospace have been supplying the 684 range of thermocouples to Rolls-Royce since the start of the RB211 engine programme. Weston recently completed a redesign of these thermocouples to ensure that their reliability and life continue to meet stringent demands of the RB211 operators.

The product improvements include the use of a modified thermocouple element which exhibits greater stability over the life of the probe. This element generates the same output as the K-type element used in the previous thermocouples design.

Weston Aerospace also manufacture speed sensors, thermocouple harnesses, T2, Fuel & Oil, and Rear Overheat thermocouples for Rolls-Royce on the listed engines.
