Weston Aerospace is a GE Aircraft Engines approved manufacturer of individual T5.4 EGT thermocouple probes for the LM2500, LM2500 DLE and LM2500 Plus engines..

Operators of all LM2500 model engines which are currently fitted with ‘Quadrant’ style thermocouple systems will be able to upgrade to a system which allows individual probe replacement.

The Weston LM2500 individual thermocouple probe, together with a set of custom designed harnesses will allow fast system upgrade and if required, individual rather than average temperature readings.

These probes are derived from Weston’s rugged CF6-80 and GE90 aircraft engine thermocouples (also used on the LM6000 engine) ensuring the highest possible reliability.

The probe uses a high accuracy K-type thermocouple element with a high performance sheath and element support materials that are highly resistant to erosion and oxidation.

The terminal design offers very high integrity and is used extensively on Weston’s highly successful aero-engine applications.
